“The Youth of Today”
GMTV this morning…
Contained rather large sections of “news” about “Today’s youth” and “yob culture”
Apparently according to the thick woman who sits on the sofa, it’s all gone down the pan and we are all scary violent yobs who ought to go and do national service.
We were told some horror stories about people getting stabbed etc…
…and it seems like just a few cases of this up and down the country, and the whole of “todays youth” are feared, because we are of course, all pure evil.
Every last f*cking one of us sets out everyday to intimidate people and makes the ordinary persons life hell… don’t we?
Well according to the media that is the case.
I am (and i hope you are too) sick of hearing about “todays youth” and how nasty and disrespectful we are.
When will they understand we are not all like that?!
It’s so frustrating hearing these massive sweeping assumptions made on TV about todays youth going to sh*t.
These yob arseholes are a minority amongst teenagers.
SO PLEASE DON’T REFER TO THEM AS TODAY’S YOUTH.

The rest of teenager-dom hates these yobs with a passion.

Until you have met every f*cking single one of “todays youth” and have proof are are all disrespectful n*bheads, please, for f*cks sake DO NOT use massive generalization “today’s youth” again!
And you wonder why we don’t respect you when you don’t respect us???
You continually think they worst of us ALL the time(and yes thats a generalization too , but it’s actually true for the majority).
When you simply do not know us.
I get strangers crossing the road and walking as far away as possible from me when they pass me in the street; like i’m gonna beat them up or something??? My friends have told about the same happening to them also, about getting comments from random members of the public about what they are doing.
More examples:
Me and my friends Sami and Chris were talking and walking down an alleyway in town and some women comes out of her house to accuse us of graffiti-ing a nearby lamp post!
We get approached by police randomly when passing the chav hang outs.
They are limits on how many kids can go in a shop at a time because we might steal things.
We get patronized all the freaking time and talked down to by our “elders”, I know many people my age will agree we are the first to be blamed for loads of things
It’s irrational and stupid not to mention insulting.I will not respect irrationality and stupidity. End Of.
You don’t get respect you earn it. My friend Anne once said that, and it is true.
People need to appreciate that people do just get respect for nothing more than being older, (many older people are stupid as hell)you get respect for being a descent human in my book.
Don’t let biased and flawed media based on minority cases sway your opinion of the whole of teenagers everywhere. Because if you do, quite frankly, you are one dumb sh*t.
We hate the chavs as much as you do, but please allow it to enter your small brains we aren’t all like that.

Apparently 50 people have died as a result of gang/yob culture last year.
Shocking statistic? ….No.
Please use your brains and compare that to the actual number of teenagers today(millions).I bet more people are murdered by adults each year.

Think we should be made to do national military service training.
Get us to be more respectful (aka: scare the shit outta us until we have “more respect”)
You can almost guess what I am going to say can’t you?
They can ram it up their backsides for the following reasons:
1) Why would you punish us all for a minority of w*nkers?
2) Why would you pass the police’s burden of dealing with the violent yobs on to the military, i bet the military aren’t happy about that.
3) Adults come out, mentality ill and you want teenagers in there?
