Argh I am not narrow-minded

This is happening with alarming regularity now and it’s really annoying me,

people seem to be of the opinion that if a hold an opinion different to their’s i am automatically narrow-minded. For example my friend Chris says because I laugh at him for believing in ghosts i am narrow-minded

NO.

thats not me being Narrow-minded, thats him being a gullible fuckwit.-(harsh but true)

Seriously I was out camping with him and he is like OOOooo what if ghosts get us , every little noise from outside and he whimpers like an injured dog…

and if I question this bizarre fear… I get:

OOOOOOHHH I’M SOO NARROW MINDED , I SHOULD JUST OPEN MY FUCKING MIND, AND CONSIDER THAT THEY MIGHT EXIST.

WTF!? What the fuck do you think evidence is mate? WHAT DO YOU THINK IT IS?

Yes they MIGHT exist, but thats not evidence. Them “MIGHT EXISTING” isn’t going to sway me.

I’m sorry you believe anything at the drop of hat, but that doesn’t make me narrow-minded.

the whole basis for his crazy ideas come from some documentary he has seen on the TV… because documentaries on TV are always right :/ (ARGGHH!!!)

If your are that gullible, one day you will get conned by and I will laugh my socks pink and green.

If you present me with some actual evidence, you will find my “narrow-mindedness” starts to change.

Natalie and loads of other people have called me narrow-minded for different reasons, most of these include disliking certain mainstream bands:

(e.g. green day, avenged sevenfold etc…)

This one gets me ten times more than the last one, because anyone with less than half a brain can see i am the least musically narrow-minded person you can find.

how many metallers do you know that can say they also like vangelis and have a load of post-rock, instrumental, classical and electronica CDs?

Seriously; I listen to more obscure bands than green day has letters in all there song names. When they are listening too more weird music spanning more unheard of genres than me, ONLY THEN can they call me narrow minded.

I dislike mainstream bands, in my opinion, for good reason:

I dislike them because they are musically predictable, uninteresting, boring etc… Seriously over-rated, they get masses and masses of glory for creating short simple, predictable guitar work, with boring song structures, over used techniques,lyrics about the same old stuff.. shit that I’ve heard a millions time before.

I’m just not interested!!!! Being not interested in dull shit does NOT make me narrow-minded. AT ALL.

Tell me do you listen to interlock, or sybreed or even royksopp? no?

THEN DON’T GIVE ME SHIT ABOUT BEING NARROWMINDED. Because I personally and passionately believe that I have a ten fold bigger case and against most people being narrow-minded, than you have against me!

and for the record, those band i mention i do actually like, and listen to a lot.

So to everyone who think i am narrow-minded.
